Samuel Jackson

Samuel has more than 15 years’ experience as an asbestos/hazardous materials supervisor and is the nominated Worksafe approved Supervisor on multiple class A licences around Australia while also being a FAMANZ Director & Full Member – Remediation.

Samuel has worked on an extensive amount of friable and non-friable asbestos removal projects in various positions ranging from Asbestos Removalist, Asbestos Supervisor, Estimator, Project Manager, Project Director and as a and a Licenced Asbestos Assessor (LAA) providing independent advice to clients particularly in natural disasters and emergency events. Where critical decisions on the ground have to be justified in the best interests of key stakeholders.

Samuel is tertiary qualified in Policing, fraud risk management (WSU), Currently studying Disaster Response and Recovery via the University of Queensland (QUT), and holding an advanced Diploma in Work Health & Safety (Scorpion training) along with having a very strong commitment to promoting industry best practice in the HAZMAT and asbestos removal industry while encouraging compliance to WHS Laws.

Samuel established Thuroona Services with two other directors in 2014 and an additional complementary company Hazrad Australia in 2018 both as speciality Hazardous Materials business’ serving various markets across Australia.
