Anne Hoffman

Annie Hoffman joined Turner Freeman Lawyers as a law clerk in 2003. She was admitted to practice in 2007 and became a partner in 2013. She is the Managing Partner of Turner Freeman’s Adelaide and Perth offices.

Annie has practiced almost exclusively in the area of asbestos claims her entire career. In South Australia, she has run more asbestos cases to judgment than any other lawyer.

Annie’s career highlights include the first award of exemplary damages against James Hardie in Australia, the largest judgment on behalf of a mesothelioma sufferer in South Australia and the first award of damages in Australia for non-PBS funded immunotherapy. Recently she ran a test case against James Hardie for “third wave” DIY home renovators which ran to the High Court and has now secured compensation on behalf of that class of victims for years to come.
