Melvin Chin is a medical oncologist who divides his time between clinical work at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and translational research at the National Centre for Asbestos Related Diseases (NCARD) in Western Australia. He has a keen research interest in cancer computational biology. Currently, his research focuses on applying machine learning approaches to understand mesothelioma pathogenesis and treatment response using gene sequencing.
