Jill Gallagher is the Manager Priority Programs within the NSW Environment Protection Authority. She leads teams that deal with asbestos and lead issues across NSW. Asbestos issues in NSW are coordinated through the NSW Asbestos Coordination Committee (NACC), which is a multi-agency group that operates at a senior executive level with a strategic focus. Jill has chaired the officer-level NACC Working Group since 2018.
Jill has over 20 years’ experience in regulation and policy reform/development within the NSW Government, in areas as varied as logging activities, contaminated sites, child care, modified vehicles and heavy vehicles. She is passionate about making a difference to the community, and enjoys connecting people to solve difficult problems.
