Since joining ASEA in 2019, Stacey has been involved in a variety of projects relating to asbestos awareness and the safe management of asbestos, including leading the development of the Asbestos-Cement Water and Sewer Pipe Management Guidelines.
She has over 12 years’ experience in Australian Government legal and strategic policy, primarily in the areas of work health and safety and industrial relations. Prior to joining ASEA, Stacey worked as a lawyer and policy officer in other Australian Government agencies, including Safe Work Australia, as part of a small team which led the development of the model Work Health and Safety laws. In that role Stacey contributed directly to the development of the model Work Health and Safety Regulations for asbestos. Stacey’s current and previous roles have given her the opportunity to work with a variety of people and organisations to contribute to outcomes in work health and safety and industrial relations law and policy.
A strong advocate for work/life balance, outside of work Stacey enjoys spending time with her children and husband, and getting to the gym to enjoy time away from her children and husband.
