Rob is currently Manager of Community Safety at Baw Baw Shire Council and oversees the Public Health, Community Compliance and Emergency Management teams that deals with Asbestos related matters at a community facing, front line level. Council manages a wide range of asbestos concerns including proactive education and community information, investigation of illegal dumping or unsafe removal and appropriate management of asbestos in emergency events.
Rob has a Public Health background and has worked for both local and state governments and the private sector over a 20 year career, and is one of Baw Baw Shire’s representatives on the Latrobe Valley Asbestos Taskforce.
