Kate Carmichael is an experienced Project Manager with an extensive background in communications and media production and has worked across corporate, non-profit and government sectors. Kate is responsible for leading the program to deliver the objectives in the Latrobe Valley Asbestos Taskforce Strategic Plan and provide recommendations for change in the asbestos space.
Kate’s strengths in relationship and team building have been central to the successful collaboration found on the Taskforce, where she has enjoyed working with multiple stakeholders to build trust and gain consensus from those with differing views and priorities. This all-inclusive approach is in harmony with Kate’s purpose of undertaking meaningful work that aligns with her values and the opportunity to make a difference.
