Jason Adams is Blue Mountains City Council’s (BMCC) Program Leader for Hazardous Materials and the conference host. With over 12 years’ experience in local government, Jason has dedicated almost half of that time leading BMCC’s evolution to an industry leader in the management and operational response to asbestos in the local government workplace.
Over the past four years, Jason has played an integral role in the development and implementation of BMCC’s asbestos management framework, has been invited to share his knowledge and expertise in local and state forums and continues to drive best practice within industry whilst ensuring the health and safety of staff and the community.
Jason is an emerging expert and innovator in the field of asbestos management and local government, advocating for greater guidance and support to assist councils in managing the compliance and WHS requirements and workloads.
